BJ Sports has one
cottage available for daily, weekend or weekly rental during the
fall. If you're planning a trip to the area for hunting,
fishing, Notre Dame football or for no particular reason at all,
you might find this a nice alternative to a motel.
The cottage is
furnished, heated, has a full kitchen with utensils, master
bedroom, another bedroom, loft, cable TV, hot showers and
screened-in porch (pictures below); and is located adjacent
to the Grand Mere State Park and about 1/4 mile off Lake Michigan
at Exit 22 in Stevensville, Michigan.
You can bring
groceries to cook your own meals or visit one of the many
restaurants within just a few minutes of the cottage.
The St. Joe Piers are
about 10 minutes north, the Berrien Springs Dam (St. Joe River) is
about 20 minutes southeast, the Watervliet Dam (Paw Paw River) is
25 minutes northeast, Notre Dame football is 30 - 45 minutes
southeast, and the casino in New Buffalo is 20 minutes south on
I-94.
Check-in is any time
after 3PM of your first night. Check-out is before 3PM of
your last day. Rates are based on renting the cottage
itself, not how many people stay there.
