FROM THE WEST (Chicago):  If you're coming in from the west on I-94, BJ Sports, Inc. will be the first sporting goods you'll find in Michigan within a mile of the highway.  While Exit 23 (Bus. I-94 / Red Arrow Hwy.) is the first exit into St. Joseph, Exit 27 will also take you into downtown St. Joe and will actually take you closer to most marinas and fishing charters.  This makes a visit to BJ Sports, Inc. a convenient stop to purchase your licenses, snacks, beverages, and any other fishing or hunting equipment  you may need.  You can then take Niles Rd. back into St. Joseph.

• Take Exit 27 on I-94

• Turn right

• Go about a mile to the second red light (M-139 or Old US 31; Ace Hardware will be on your left)

• Turn right

• BJ Sports, Inc. will be one block up on your right

• If you miss Exit 27, take Exit 28, turn left off the exit, and follow the directions 'From The East' below

FROM THE EAST & NORTH (Detroit / Grand Rapids):  If you're coming from north of I-94, you can bring I-196 down to I-94 then go west toward Chicago.  From Kalamazoo or Detroit, you'll merge with traffic from the north at Exit 34 on I-94.  From that point, directions to BJ Sports, Inc. are the same.

Instead of taking Exit 33 into Benton Harbor, drive on up to Exit 28 and swing into BJ Sports, Inc. to pick up whatever you need for your fishing or hunting trip.  From our store, you can take either M-139 into Benton Harbor or Niles Rd. into St. Joseph.

• Take Exit 28 on I-94

• Turn right

• You'll go about a mile, crossing the river and then come to a red light (Niles Rd.)

• Go THRU the red light

• BJ Sports, Inc. will be one block up on your right

• If you miss Exit 28, take Exit 27, turn left off the exit, and follow the directions 'From the West' above

FROM THE SOUTH (South Bend):  If you're coming up from or through the South Bend area to fish the piers in St. Joe or to get to one of the charters, take the US 31 Bypass north into Michigan (this will take you past the Michiana Regional Airport).  Once in Michigan, go to Exit 15B - Benton Harbor/St. Joe.  Go UNDER the bridge to take the exit onto Old US 31 (now also referred to as M-139).  Stay on Old 31 for about six miles into Scottdale and you'll see BJ Sports, Inc. on your left (just past the church and just before the gas station).  From the store, you can take Niles Rd. or continue north on M-139 to your ultimate destination.

• Take the US 31 Bypass north

• Go approximately 25 miles on the Bypass to Exit 15B - Benton Harbor/St. Joe (Old US 31)

• Go UNDER the bridge before exiting

• Take Old US 31 (M-139) north for six (6) miles to Scottdale

• BJ Sports, Inc. will be on your left just past the church and just before the gas station

• If you get to a red light, you've gone one block too far

FROM THE INDIANA TOLL ROAD:  If you're coming from any point on the Indiana Toll Road, go to Exit 72 and take US 31 north into Michigan.
