Due to storage limitations, we
will accept only fish, birds, and small reptiles and mammals.
BJ Sports, Inc. is the
official drop-off point for world-class, award-winning taxidermist Elmer
Flener of
Tops Wilderness
Studio. You're just as welcome to take
your animals straight to his studio located at 2383 Roslin Rd. near
Coloma, Michigan, but if you want to save yourself the trip, bring it to
BJ's.
His rates are:

Prices are subject to change
without notice.
We will do all the required
paperwork and collect the 50% deposit for the mount plus a $5.00 storage
fee. We will then make sure your animal is properly prepared for
freezing and then place it in our spacious chest freezer. We will
then contact Elmer to let him know your mount is waiting for
pick-up. Your animal will be in his studio within a day or two.
Elmer regularly donates a free
mount to the lucky kid who catches the biggest panfish on the 'FISHING IS
FUN FOR KIDS' day which is held each year in early August.
If you have a favorite
taxidermist for whom you would like to be able to drop off animals at BJ's,
have him
contact us if he's
interested in using us as a drop-off point.
